This Title Three of Part Eleven - Planning and Zoning Code shall hereafter be known, cited and referred to as the Subdivision Regulations of Kirtland Hills Village. The general purpose of these Regulations shall be to guide and regulate the subdivision and development of land in order to promote and protect the public health, safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare of the Village. It is intended that these Regulations shall serve the following objectives:
(a) To provide for orderly development of land;
(b) To preserve the natural beauty and topography of the Village and to insure appropriate development with regard to these natural features;
(c) To establish reasonable standards of design;
(d) To insure safe and convenient vehicular access;
(e) To protect and conserve the value of land;
(f) To insure that land to be subdivided shall be of such character that it can be used safely for building purposes; and
(g) To coordinate land development in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance.
These Regulations shall be considered minimum requirements and standards for the subdivision and development of land within the Village.
