(a) All outdoor illumination in residential areas within the Village shall be so directed and so shielded that it does not shine or reflect beyond the boundaries of the property upon which its source is located so as to cause excessive illumination or annoying glare to adjacent properties or detrimentally impact vehicular traffic on roadways within the Village.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which the violation occurs or continues.
