505.15  KEEPING FARM ANIMALS ON RESIDENTIAL PREMISES.
   (a)   For the purposes of this section, farm animals are defined as being horses, goats, cows, cattle, sheep, mules or other similar four-legged animals.
   (b)   Farm animals shall be permitted on residentially zoned lands within Kirtland Hills Village provided that:
      (1)   There shall not be more than one farm animal per acre of land;
      (2)   The lands housing the farm animals shall be fenced so as to securely confine said animals;
      (3)   Any building or structure used in connection with the keeping of farm animals shall be located not less than 100 feet from any property line; and
      (4)   No nuisance is created by or results from said animals being on said lands.
   (c)   Whoever violates subsection (b) hereof is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.  A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which the violation occurs or continues.  (Ord.  07-98-12.  Passed 7-20-98.)
