All contractors for tree cutting (other than the property owner) must obtain a license from the Village before tree cutting begins. Tree cutting by a licensed contractor must be in compliance with an approved tree cutting permit, or fall within the exceptions set forth in Section 1354.04
. The license fee is five dollars ($5.00) and the license shall be effective for one year.
