§ 882.01 PURPOSE; LEVY OF TAX.

To provide funds for street construction and improvement, police protection, improvement of fire protection and the improvement of general municipal functions, there is hereby levied a tax on all salaries, wages, commissions and other compensation and on net profits as hereinafter provided.
