§ 836.15  PRESCRIBING METHODS WHERE CHAPTER INEFFECTIVE; CONFLICT OF LAWS.
If any provision of this chapter cannot be applied or, if applied, would be ineffective in carrying out the protection which this chapter is meant to give, then the City Engineer, the Fire Chief and the Ohio Division of Oil and Gas may designate the method to be used. If the standards established by this chapter are less restrictive than Ohio R.C. Chapter 1509 or the rules adopted thereunder by the Division, then the more restrictive standards of the state statute or Division rules shall apply.
