The Director of Public Safety may at any time revoke or suspend licenses granted under the authority of this chapter for failure to comply with the provisions of this chapter or any law, ordinance or rule of the state or the city. In addition, the Director is hereby authorized to revoke the license of any person who is convicted of a violation of any criminal law of the state or the city.
