§ 220.11  STANDING COMMITTEES.
   (a)   The members of standing committees of Council shall be appointed by the President of Council, with Council's approval, not later than the twentieth day following Council's yearly organizational meeting. The first named member of a committee shall be its Chairperson.

   (b)   The standing committees of Council shall be as follows:
      (1)   Recreation;
      (2)   Police and Fire Divisions;
      (3)   Planning and Zoning;
      (4)   Public Relations;
      (5)   Utilities;
      (6)   Service Department;
      (7)   Finance; and
      (8)   Parliamentarian.
   (c)   Councilpersons of each committee are requested and encouraged to seek assistance from civic minded persons in the community to work with them in accomplishing municipal duties.
