(a) The Kirtland Council Rules, together with Robert’s Rules of Order, will be used to govern the actions of Council.
(b) Council will meet regularly twice each month at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays. The only exceptions to this rule are:
(1) Monday, January 1, 2018 (New Year's Day). Council will meet on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
(2) Monday, January 15, 2018 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). Council will meet on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
(3) Monday, February 19, 2018 (Presidents' Day). Council will meet on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
(4) Monday, May 7, 2018. To accommodate the Board of Elections with regard to the setup of voting equipment prior to the primary election, Council will meet on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
(5) To provide for Summer Recess, Council will meet on Monday, July 2, 2018 and Monday, July 9, 2018. Council will meet once during the month of August, on the third Monday, to-wit: August 20, 2018.
(6) Monday, September 3, 2018 (Labor Day). Council will meet on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
(7) Monday, November 5, 2018. To accommodate the Board of Elections with regard to the set-up of voting equipment prior to Election Day, Council will meet on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

(c) The time of all meetings shall be 7:00 p.m. and all meetings shall be held in Council Chambers, City Hall, unless otherwise posted.
