§ 206.01  WARDS.
   In compliance with Article I, § 1, of the City Charter, the following wards, having very nearly equal populations, are hereby established:
   (a)   Ward 1. Beginning at the northeast corner of the City of Kirtland, Ward 1 is bounded as follows:
      (1)   On the north by the north corporation line of the city (the south corporation line of the City of Mentor) to the northwest corner of the city;
      (2)   On the west by the west corporation line of the city (east corporation lines of the City of Willoughby and the Village of Waite Hill) to the centerline of Hobart Road, thence along the centerline of Hobart Road to the centerline of Euclid-Chardon Road (a.k.a. U.S. Route 6);
      (3)   On the south by the centerline of said Euclid-Chardon Road easterly to the centerline of Chillicothe Road (a.k.a. State Route 306);
      (4)   On the east by the centerline of Chillicothe Road northerly to the centerline of Eagle Road, the centerline of the Eagle Road to the centerline of the First Energy high tension power line easement, the centerline of the First Energy easement to the south line of First Energy property (V.679-P.515), the south line of the First Energy property to the southwest corner of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) property (Doc. 2008R021717) (formerly the McFarland property (V.275-P.369)), the south line of the LDS property to the centerline of Kirtland-Chardon Road, the centerline of Kirtland-Chardon Road and relocated Kirtland-Chardon Road to a southwest corner of the Village of
Kirtland Hills and an easterly corporation line of the city (west corporation line of the Village of Kirtland Hills) to the northeast corner of the city.
   (b)   Ward 2. Beginning at the southeast corner of the Village of Kirtland Hills, Ward 2 is bounded as follows:
      (1)   On the north by a northerly corporation line of the city (south corporation line of the Village of Kirtland Hills) to the east line of Ward 1;
      (2)   On the west by the east line of Ward 1 to the centerline of Eagle Road at the northwest corner of Sublot 56 of Alpine Drive Subdivision #2 (V. M-98) and the west line of the Alpine Drive Subdivision #2 to the southwest corner thereof;
      (3)   On the south by the southerly lines of the Alpine Drive Subdivision #2, Alpine Drive Subdivision (V. K-21), the Valente property (Doc. 980042105 and 2007R012175), and the Allen properties (Doc.2003R031008 and 2012R022959) to the west line of Silver Fox Subdivision (V. W-24), the west and south lines of the Silver Fox Subdivision to the southwest corner of Woodglen Subdivision No.1 (V. 12-7), the south and east lines of the Woodglen Subdivision No.1 to the southwest corner of Woodglen Subdivision No. 2 (V. 12-10), the east and south lines of the Woodglen Subdivision No. 2 to the southwest corner of Holden Arboretum property (V.272-P.1149), the south line of the Holden Arboretum property to the centerline of Kirtland-Chardon Road, the centerline of Kirtland-Chardon Road to the east corporation line of the city (west corporation line of Chardon Township, Geauga County);
      (4)   On the east by the corporation line of the city to the southeast corner of the Village of Kirtland Hills.
   (c)   Ward 3. Ward 3 consists of all the area west of Chillicothe Road not included in Ward 1; and
   (d)   Ward 4. Ward 4 consists of all the area east of Chillicothe Road not included in Wards 1 and 2.
