(a) There is hereby created a fund to be known as the Recreation Park Development Fund. All funds received by the city for recreational purposes by donations, impact fees, or otherwise, together with all funds appropriated by City Council for recreation capital improvements and/or development shall be paid into the Recreation Park Development Fund. The Finance Director shall make payment from such funds upon presentation of vouchers or orders by proper city officials in accordance with law. Such disbursements shall be made for the purposes of planning, constructing, and equipping of improvements to the recreation parks within the city.
(b) The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to make application to the appropriate agencies of the State of Ohio for approval of the creation of the Recreation Improvement Fund pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. § 5705.12.
