§ 1448.04  LIABILITY INSURANCE.
Every person applying for a permit under this chapter shall file a certificate of insurance, with a company acceptable to the Director of Public Service, with limits of at least five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) single limit bodily injury liability and five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) property damage liability, to insure the permittee and the mover, and naming the city as an additional insured, with respect to all operations involved in the moving of the building or structure. The permittee shall also save and hold the city harmless from any claim which may be made against it arising out of such moving operations. Limits of liability coverage required may be increased by the Director of Public Service if he or she deems that the circumstances involved in a particular move warrant greater coverage. The increase shall be to an amount which, in the opinion of the Director of Law, is reasonable under the circumstances.
