There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the location, design, materials, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, use, occupancy, maintenance, removal and demolition of dwellings and appurtenant structures, except insofar as such matters are otherwise specifically provided for in any other applicable law or ordinance, that certain code known as the 2013 Residential Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings, including all subsequent editions, amendments and modifications of same, save and except such portion thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.
