§ 254.10  CLASSIFICATIONS OF HOURLY EMPLOYEES.
   (a)   Division of Police. There are hereby established the following pay grades for the Division: Lieutenant, Patroler Class A and Patroler Class B. In addition, there are hereby established the pay grades of Dispatcher Class B, Dispatcher Class A and Clerk/Dispatcher. A patroler in Class P-5 on the effective date of this section (Ord. 84-O-14, passed April 16, 1984) shall be placed in Class A. A patrolman in Class P-4, P-3, P-2 or P-1 on the effective date of this section (Ord. 84-O-14, passed April 16, 1984) shall be placed in Class B. A patroler who has been placed in Class B on the effective date of this section (Ord. 84-O-14, passed April 16, 1984) from an original Class P-4, P-3, P-2 or P-1 placement shall be elevated to Class A on January 1, 1985. A full-time patroler hired after the effective date of this section (Ord. 84-0-14, passed April 16, 1984) shall be a Class B Patrolman and shall, upon completion of 12 months of satisfactory service to the city, be elevated to a Class A Patroler.
   (b)   Division of Fire. There are hereby established in the Division of Fire the following classifications for firefighters: Firefighter Class B, Firefighter Class A and Firefighter/Paramedic.
   (c)   Street personnel. There are hereby established the following street personnel classifications: Superintendent, Leader, Mechanic, Equipment Operator, Road Worker Class B and Road Worker Class A.
   (d)   Cemetery personnel. There are hereby established the following cemetery personnel classifications:  Sexton and Laborer.
