§ 254.07  INSURANCE.
   Each eligible full-time employee and his or her dependents shall be provided hospital and medical insurance benefits as are from time to time determined by Council during service to the city. Each full-time employee electing not to be enrolled in the insurance benefit plan of the city shall receive a sum equal to one-half of the monthly premium cost to the city for an employee without dependents in lieu of such insurance benefits. If more than one insurance benefit package is available to all employees, the payment in lieu of insurance shall be based upon the lowest cost premium to the city.
