§ 1040.12  SERVICE TO ADJACENT MUNICIPALITIES.
The city shall not interfere with the Ohio Water Service Company using mains now located within the city to furnish a supply of water to the Village of Waite Hill or to other adjacent areas. If the company finds it necessary to construct transmission mains, or other transmission facilities inside the city in order to serve areas adjacent to or beyond the city, the company shall first submit the plans and specifications for such mains or facilities to the city for approval. The city shall grant its approval if its professional engineer is satisfied that construction pursuant to the submitted plans and specifications will result in the least amount of disruption and inconvenience to the city and its residents commensurate with the reasonable cost of such construction.
