§ 33.05 MEMBERS OF THE POLICE FORCE; DUTIES; QUALIFICATIONS.
   The Town Council classifies by rank the members of the Town Police Department as:
   (A)   The Town Marshal shall be the highest rank of any member of the Police Department appointed by the Town Council to serve at the pleasure of the Town Council, whose function it will be to direct, supervise, and control the activities of the Police Department; and
   (B)   The Deputy Town Marshal shall be the second highest ranking member of the Police Department and shall be appointed by the Town Marshal with the approval of the Council. The function of the Deputy Town Marshal will be to direct the activities of the police force in the absence of the Chief and to perform such other duties as may from time to time be defined by the rules and regulations of the Town Police Department or pursuant to the direction of the Town Marshal.
