§ 110.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   PEDDLER or HAWKER. Any transient person who engages temporarily in the selling of any kinds of goods, wares, merchandise, or souvenirs within the corporate limits of the town, regardless of whether the goods are peddled from house to house, or sold on the public streets, sidewalks, or other public places, or sold from any room, building, structure, or lot rented or leased for the purpose of carrying on the business.
   SOLICITOR. Any person who goes from house to house or from place to place within the corporate limits of the town selling or taking orders for, or offering to sell or take orders for goods, wares, or merchandise for future delivery, or subscriptions, or business of any kind, or soliciting or seeking donations of any kind.
   VEHICLE. Any automobile, truck, wagon, trailer, or other conveyance for carrying property.
