§ 30.01 SMOKING PROHIBITED IN MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS. Those structures owned, leased, or otherwise occupied by the town, including, but not limited to, all areas within said buildings or any additions thereto.
      PERSON. Any man, woman, or child, regardless of age.
      SMOKE or SMOKING. To ignite, or cause to be ignited, tobacco, tobacco product, or derivative, which includes, but is not limited to, tobacco or a derivative thereof, such that the product or derivative emits a gas or cloud which is commonly understood to be SMOKE, which may be, or is intended to be, inhaled by any person.
   (B)   No person shall have in his or her possession any lighted tobacco product or tobacco derivative including, but not limited to, pipes, cigars, cigarettes, or other devices used for the smoking of tobacco or tobacco-like products, while within any public meeting rooms located within any municipal building. The Town Council may, by written order, designate one area in each fire station where the possession of a lighted tobacco product may be lawful, and appropriate signage may be installed advising occupants of such structures of such locations.
