§ 92.05 STREET TREE SPECIES TO BE PLANTED.
   The following list constitutes the official street tree species for the village. No species other than those included in this list may be planted as street trees without the written permission of the Superintendent of Public Works.
   (A)   Small trees, 20 to 35 feet:
      (1)   Hawthorn, Washington; and
      (2)   Crimson king maple.
   (B)   Medium trees, 30 to 60 feet:
      (1)   Ash, green;
      (2)   Linden, little leaf;
      (3)   Maple, Norway;
      (4)   Oak, pin;
      (5)   Linden, American;
      (6)   Maple, red; and
      (7)   Maple, columnar.
   (C)   Large trees, 60 feet and over:
      (1)   Gingko (male);
      (2)   Honey locust, thornless; and
      (3)   Oak, red.
