§ 33.33 RELIEF FROM THE UNDERLYING OBLIGATION.
Any person who makes a credit card payment to the village for an authorized obligation as provided herein shall not be relieved from liability of the authorized obligation except to the extent that the village realizes final payment of the authorized obligation in cash or the equivalent. If the credit card payment is made by some party other than the credit card issuer or guarantor of payment in the credit card transaction, then the authorized obligation shall survive and the village shall retain all remedies of law for enforcement of the authorized obligation.
