(A) Whenever the supply of water is turned off for violation of rules and regulations, nonpayment of bills or fraudulent use of water, a reconnection charge in the amount of $25 shall be paid as tariff for reconnecting service.
(B) If service is discontinued at the request of a customer, the city waterworks may refuse service to such customer, at the same premises, within eight months, unless said waterworks shall first receive payment in the amount of $25 as a tariff for reconnecting services.
