§ 95.05 REQUIREMENT OF MARKER FOUNDATION.
Any person or entity who owns a lot in the Maplewood Cemetery and does desire to place a marker upon said lot identifying the grave site shall notify the city of the type of marker to be used, the size and such other information as the city may request. A foundation for all grave markers shall be required to be built by the grave marker company in accordance with the requirements of the marker. Any company desiring to set a grave marker shall give a minimum notice of 48 hours prior to the date that the company intends to set the grave marker. Prior to a company entering the cemetery to set the grave marker, the representative of the company shall visit City Hall and identify himself or herself so that a representative of the city may accompany the marker company to the cemetery and specifically identify the grave site. A representative of the city must be present to inspect the grave marker foundation hole prior to any pouring for the marker foundation. No marker company may pour a marker foundation, unless it is approved by a representative of the city.
