All members of said Board of Water Commissioners, all employees of said city waterworks, including the Superintendent thereof shall be bonded with corporate surety in an amount at least equal to the amount of money coming into the hands of said Board of Water Commissioners during each fiscal year; all employees shall be covered and be placed under the scope of the worker’s compensation laws of the state or other adequate means taken to save the city harmless by reason of any act or thing done by the said Board of Water Commissioners or any agent or employee thereof. The amount of such bonds herein provided for shall be set from time to time by the Council of said City of Kingwood.
