§ 53.10 BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLIES.
   (A)   Any backflow prevention assembly required by these rules must be installed at a location and in a manner as determined by the public water so as to facilitate testing and servicing.
   (B)   Any backflow prevention assembly required by these rules shall be tested at the time of installation and every 12 months thereafter.
   (C)   Backflow prevention assembly may be required to be tested more frequently by the supplier of water.
   (D)   Any backflow prevention assembly required by these rules shall be purchased, installed, maintained and tested at the expense of the water customer.
   (E)   All testing of a backflow prevention assembly shall be performed at such intervals and in such manner as may be required by the supplier of water.
   (F)   A State Bureau for Public Health certified backflow prevention assembly tester shall perform the tests.
   (G)   A reduced pressure backflow prevention assembly shall not be installed in a pit or vault.
   (H)   The water customer shall keep records of such tests and a copy provided to the supplier of water.
