§ 52.178 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS; DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ACCEPTABLE INDUSTRIAL WASTES. Being liquid organic waste materials not containing toxic
or explosive elements or other substances injurious to sewers or sewage treatment processes, which result from any commercial, manufacturing or industrial operation or process.
   NON-ACCEPTABLE INDUSTRIAL WASTES. Being liquid wastes in which are incorporated minerals, oil, acid, toxic metallic or chemical substances, resulting from any commercial, manufacturing or industrial operation or process.
   NON-SANITARY WASTES. Being liquid wastes considered to be sanitary sewer inflow or clean water discharges such as roof drains, basement foundation drainage, garage and basement drains, sump pump effluent or any other non-sanitary source or water, including what is commonly referred to as stormwater.
   SANITARY SEWAGE. The waste from water closets, urinals, lavatories, sinks, bath tubs, showers, household laundries, bars, soda fountains, cuspidors, refrigerator dips and drinking fountains, and any other water-borne waste not constituting an industrial waste or stormwater.
