§ 53.221 DEVICE PROTECTION.

Any back-flow protection system in which there are apparent pressure surges or abnormally high pressure shall be protected against possible damage by a device approved by the Cross-Connection Control Inspector, such as hammer arresters or pressure reducing valve.
