(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) There shall be a penalty of double the actual cost of the permit for failure to obtain the required permit before any actual work is begun. The failure shall also be a misdemeanor pursuant to G.S. § 160A-175 and G.S. § 160A-417, and violators shall be subject to injunction and abatement orders pursuant to G.S. § 160A-175.
