The North Carolina State Administrative and Policy Code, The North Carolina State Building Code, The North Carolina State Residential Code, The North Carolina State Plumbing Code, The North Carolina State Mechanical Code, The North Carolina State Fuel Gas Code, The North Carolina State Energy Conservation Code, The North Carolina State Accessibility Code (ANSI 117.1), The North Carolina Existing Building Code, The North Carolina State Electrical Code ( NEC 70), The North Carolina Modular Construction Regulations and The North Carolina Regulations for Manufactured Homes, as enacted and published by the North Carolina Building Code Council, and as modified by the cumulative supplements thereto covering amendments passed and ratified, is hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth herein as the Building Code of the city, to the extent such code is applicable for safe and stable design, methods of construction, minimum standards, and use of materials in buildings or structures hereafter erected, enlarged, altered, repaired or otherwise constructed or reconstructed.
