The Chief of Police shall act upon the application for an exhibition show permit within seven days after the filing thereof. If the Chief of Police disapproves the application, he or she shall notify the applicant stating the reasons for his or her denial of the permit. A permit issued hereunder may be withdrawn in the event of any violation of conditions, misstatement of fact in the application or in instances where the health or safety of the citizens will be adversely affected.
