§ 116.066 COMPLIANCE WITH STATE LAW, ORDINANCES AND THE LIKE.
   (A)   Every taxicab shall be operated in accordance with the laws of the state and the ordinances of the city and with due regard for the safety, comfort and convenience of passengers and for the safe and careful transportation of property and for the safety of the general public.
   (B)   No taxicab shall be operated at a rate of speed inconsistent with existing traffic regulations, road conditions and the hazard at intersections and any other conditions then existing, nor in a manner or condition to endanger or to be likely to endanger the safety of passengers, pedestrians, vehicles or the person and property of others.
