§ 97.41 BUILDING MATERIALS, LANDSCAPING WASTES, TREE AND SHRUBBERY TRIMMINGS AND YARD TRASH.
   Building materials and landscaping shall be collected, removed and disposed of by the city as set forth below:
   (A)   Tree and shrubbery branches, limbs and trimmings cut by landscape or tree service contractors or other commercial workmen or resulting from land being cleared by a contractor shall not be collected by the city.
   (B)   The city shall at no time remove or assist in the removal of tree stumps (including any root ball or log remaining attached to a root ball) resulting from the clearing of property of any kind. It shall be unlawful for any person to place or deposit or to otherwise cause to be placed or deposited any tree stump on city property at any time.
   (C)   The city shall assist homeowners in removing larger piles of tree trimmings, if approved by the Public Works Director. This service shall be available to residential areas only. The residents, including tenants or lessees, requesting this service shall be billed at a rate of employee overtime labor multiplied by 1.67 plus equipment and landfill charges for piles larger than 5 feet x 5 feet x 5 feet. Prices will be quoted and agreed to in writing prior to work being performed by the city. Rates may be subject to change.
