§ 97.40 YARD TRASH.
   It shall be unlawful to store yard trash in receptacles or containers, except as herein described. Yard trash may be combined in a receptacle for backyard collection; provided, the contents of the receptacles or containers shall not extend above the rim thereof, and shall be contained by tight-fitting lids or sealed enclosure to prevent the carrying or depositing thereof by the elements upon any street, sidewalk or public or private property. Total capacity collected in the backyard shall be limited to three receptacles for a total capacity of 64 gallons or one 90-gallon container; provided, all material is placed in plastic bags. Receptacles and containers of yard trash shall be placed at curbside for collection no earlier than noon on the day next preceding the collection date. Any receptacle placed at curbside must be removed by midnight on the day of collection.
