§ 51.05  APPLICATION FOR CONNECTION.
   (A)   (1)   All applicants for connection to the village sewer system shall submit plans and specifications of all plumbing construction within the building or premises.
      (2)   The plans and specifications shall meet the requirements of:
         (a)   The Plumbing Code of the State of Michigan;
         (b)   All orders, rules, and regulations of the Department of Public Health; and
         (c)   All provisions of this code.
   (B)   The approval of connection shall also be contingent upon the availability of capacity in the downstream sewer, lift stations, force mains, and the village's sewage treatment plant, including B.O.D. in suspended solids capacity.
   (C)   When the plans and specifications have been approved by the village or by the officials as they may designate, a sewer permit (in conjunction with a water permit if applicable) shall be issued, subject to final inspection and approval when construction is completed.
   (D)   Final approval will be subject to compliance with the Plumbing Code of the State of Michigan, and all orders, rules, and regulations of local and state regulatory agencies.
   (E)   In addition, an applicant for connection to the sewer system which will be discharging any waste other than domestic waste shall comply with the provisions of § 51.27.
