(A) Compliance with state law. The final map shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with requirements of all state laws and amendments thereto and with the additional requirements as may be provided herein.
(B) Street names. Approval of street names shall be secured from the Village Council before inscribing them upon the map.
(C) Hearing.
(1) The plat submitted to Village Council shall be accompanied by the name and address of person or persons to whom notice of hearing shall be sent.
(2) No plat shall be acted upon by the Council without affording a hearing thereon.
(3) Notice of hearing shall be sent to the person at the address by certified mail and shall state time and place of the hearing.
(4) Same shall be mailed not less than 5 days before the date fixed therefor.
(5) Notice required by this section may be waived in writing.
(D) Field survey. If the Village Council determines it necessary to make a field survey or a detailed check of the mathematical data and computations and setting of monuments, the expense thereof shall be borne by the subdivider.
(E) Approval.
(1) The submitted final plat shall be approved, modified, or disapproved by Village Council within 60 days after the submission thereof.
(2) However, applicant-subdivider may waive this requirement and consent to an extension of time.
(3) Approval by the Council shall be certified on the map in manner and form by certificate endorsed thereon by the Village Clerk, under the seal of the village, showing that the plat and dedication has been approved by the Council.
