(a) Generally. The Comprehensive Development Plan for the Kingman Area, Kansas: 2018-2038, as adopted by the City Planning Commission, is approved as the official comprehensive plan for the city. The Kingman Park System Master Plan 2018-2038 is approved as an element of the Comprehensive Plan.
(b) Distribution. As required by K. S. A. 12-747(c), an attested copy of both plan documents will be sent to all other taxing subdivisions in the planning area which request a copy.
(c) Annual reviews.
(1) At least once a year, the Park Board must review or reconsider the Park System Master Plan, and report any recommended changes to the Planning Commission.
(2) At least once a year, the Planning Commission must review or reconsider the Comprehensive Plan and the Park System Master Plan.
(d) Amendments, extensions or additions. The Planning Commission may propose amendments, extensions or additions to the Comprehensive Plan or the Park System Master Plan as it deems appropriate. As required by K.S.A. 12-747(d), any amendments, extensions or additions must be adopted in the same manner as the original comprehensive plan.
