§ 14-203 THROUGH STREETS.
   (a)   In accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 8-2002(a)(6), and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop or yield as the sign directs at every intersection before entering any of the following streets or parts of streets, which are designated through streets; provided, that if at any such intersection there shall be maintained stop and go lights, the signals and indications thus displayed shall be observed and the vehicle permitted to proceed as such light signals so indicates:
      (1)   Main Street from north city limits to south city limits;
      (2)   Avenue “D” from east city limits to west city limits, including U.S. Highway 54 extension;
      (3)   Spruce Street, north from Sherman Street to Avenue “D”; and
      (4)   Cedar Street, north from Sherman Street to Avenue “D”.
   (b)   Automatic stop and go lights shall be maintained at the intersection of Avenue “D” and Main Street and at the intersection of Main Street and Avenue “A”.
