The city shall be authorized to enter into contracts for the provision of firefighting services for the following townships in Kingman County: Hoosier, White and Ninnescah. Said contracts shall be approved by the governing body and may be amended as necessary upon approval of the governing body. The rates charged for firefighting services in these contracts shall be determined by the governing body and shall be sufficient to pay the city for the reasonable use of equipment and for the cost of material used on the run and fighting the fire, to pay the firefighters, and to enable the city to carry a sufficient amount of insurance to indemnify it for loss or damage to persons or property.
