For the purpose of this article, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FAMILY SWIMMING POOLS. Any artificial or controlled body of water used primarily for swimming or recreative bathing, having a depth of two feet at any point and a surface area of 200 square feet, used by the owner or friends and patrons thereof, invited and permitted to use such pool without charge.
PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL. Any artificial or controlled body of water used primarily for swimming or recreative bathing, having a depth of two feet at any point and a surface area of 200 square feet, open to the public or operated in conjunction with any business open to the public, and where a fee is charged for the use thereof.
