(a) Generally. No structure extending outside the property line shall be supported or connected by a post or other support located outside the property line, but shall be supported from the building, or by a post or structure wholly within the property line.
(b) Exception. Support may be placed for balconies on public property when the balcony and supports have been reviewed and approved by the Downtown Development Board. This exception is for buildings and/or property located within one-half block east and west of Main Street from Avenue D to Sherman Avenue.
