The purpose of the Kingfisher arts board shall be as follows:
A. To advise the city commission on ways in which the city might best serve the public with regard to matters involving the arts.
B. To encourage and aid in the appreciation and awareness of, and participation in, the arts among all Kingfisher area residents.
C. To encourage cooperation and coordination among individuals, organizations, and institutions concerned with the arts in the Kingfisher area.
D. To promote employment opportunities for artists. (Ord. 912, 4-9-2007)
