1-13-4: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF OFFICERS:
The elected officers shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
   A.   Establish committees as needed.
   B.   Establish hours of operation.
   C.   Coordinate the use of the Senior Citizens Center with other senior citizens groups and organizations.
   D.   Make recommendations to the city commission concerning any beneficial changes in the rules and regulations related to the use of the Senior Citizens Center.
   E.   Conduct general membership monthly meetings on the fourth Friday at two o'clock (2:00) P.M., January through October. November and December meetings will be the third Friday.
   F.   The elected officers shall make semiannual reports on the use and participation of the center to the city commission. All books and records of the Senior Citizens Center shall be open to the public for inspection.
   G.   The elected officers may grant absences from meetings. If an officer is absent for more than three (3) consecutive business meetings without being excused, that officer shall be removed from office. The office shall become vacant and shall be filled by election. The active officers shall call for an election to fill such vacancy in the month following the vacancy.
   H.   Supervise and direct the maintenance of the facility. (2013 Code)
