FINES AND PENALTIES GENERALLY
Fines: Maximum fines or deferral fees for violations of the city code shall have a maximum amount as follows:
1-4-1 | Traffic related offenses | $200.00 |
1-4-1 | Drug related offenses | $800.00 |
1-4-1 | Alcohol related offenses | $800.00, $50.00 of which will be sent to a municipal fund to defray costs of enforcement of laws relating to offenses related to alcohol |
1-4-1 | All other offenses | $750.00; however, no fine shall exceed that allowed under state law for the same offense |
1-4-1 | All offenses | Imprisonment is not an allowed punishment for any offense |
This table is current with the 2012 session of the Oklahoma legislature. Any changes made to 11 Oklahoma Statutes section 14-111 shall be immediately applicable to this table without further action of the city. Copies of the current version of section 14-111 may be obtained at city hall.
Court Costs: The maximum amount imposed for court costs shall be $50.00, but may be reduced at the discretion of the judge of the court. (2013 Code)
