As used in this chapter, unless the context requires a different meaning, the following words and terms shall mean:
CHIEF OF POLICE: The police officer in charge of the police force of the city.
CLERK: The clerk of the city, including any deputy or neighbor of the office staff of the clerk while performing duties of the clerk's office.
COURT: The municipal court of the city of Kingfisher.
GOVERNING BODY: The mayor and the board of city commissioners.
JUDGE: The judge of the municipal court, aforesaid, including any acting judge or alternate judge thereof as provided for by the statutes of the state and this chapter.
THIS JUDICIAL DISTRICT: The district court judicial district of the state of Oklahoma, wherein the government of the city is situated. (2013 Code)
