A. Filing Of Application: Before any fence is to be installed or alterations or additions made to an existing fence, hedge or tree, an application in writing for a permit to erect a fence, hedge or plant a tree, shall be filed with the building official of the city on a form developed by the building official.
B. Contents Of Application: Such application shall, as a minimum, contain the following:
1. Name of applicant and name of property owner.
2. Address of applicant.
3. Legal description of property.
4. A plot plan acceptable to the building official showing the location of the requested fence and the construction detail; provided, however, the building official is not required to obtain details for standard fencing such as chainlink, stockade, etc. For hedges and trees, the plot plan shall show the locations and type of hedge and/or trees to be planted.
5. Any other information deemed necessary to determine that the proposed fence is in accordance with this chapter and the building code of the city. (Ord. 887, 12-8-2003)
