A. Permit Required; Exception: It is unlawful for any person acting as a fence contractor or any individual to construct, erect, install, alter, or locate any "fence" as defined in this chapter or in the building code adopted by the city without first obtaining a permit from the building official, except that no permit shall be required for fences constructed on property located in the areas of the city zoned for agricultural use. B. Fees: The cost for any fence permit shall be determined by the board of commissioners and set out in the fines and fees schedule in appendix A, division IV of this code. (Ord. 887, 12-8-2003; amd. 2013 Code)
