A. Offense: Any person who, without authorization, dumps garbage, trash, or other refuse, or assists in the unauthorized dumping of garbage, trash, or other refuse, in a dumpster or other solid waste container which is rented, leased or otherwise owned or maintained by another person, business, entity or firm shall be guilty of an offense against the City.
B. Exclusion: The act of throwing isolated objects into a dumpster or other solid waste container in the prevention or elimination of litter is specifically exempted from any penalties under this section. (Ord. 920, 11-10-2008)
C. Violation; Fine: Any person convicted of an offense under this section shall be subject to a fine, per offense, in an amount set by the Board of Commissioners as provided in the fines and fees schedule in appendix A, division III of this Code. (Ord. 920, 11-10-2008; amd. 2013 Code)
