A. Building Sewer Connection: The connection of all building sewers into the public sewer lines shall conform to the requirements of the building and plumbing codes adopted by, and the other applicable rules and regulations of, the city.
B. Sewage Works Construction:
1. All new sanitary sewage works shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the requirements of the city and the state department of health regulations.
2. Any industrial use system shall comply with U.S. environmental protection agency and state regulations, as amended, including any pretreatment and removal of toxic substances, reduction or removal of wastes which may overload or impair operation of the wastewater treatment system.
C. Mandatory Connection: When a public sewer becomes available within three hundred feet (300'), the building sewer shall be connected to said sewer within sixty (60) days of completion of said sewer.
D. Connection Charges: Connection charges shall be assessed by the city/Kingfisher public works authority for all new connections to the public sewer in such amounts as set by the board of commissioners as provided in the fines and fees schedule in appendix A, division IV of this code. (2013 Code)
