A. Authority To Ration; Notice To Public:
1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to make declarations for water rationing without the approval of the Board of Commissioners. Any declaration is subject to removal by a vote of the Board of Commissioners but shall stay in effect until said vote actually occurs.
2. If the City Manager should determine it is necessary to ration water, the City Manager must post notice of such declaration of such rationing on the doors of City Hall and must also notify a newspaper of general circulation within the City. Notice may also be given by any other means deemed appropriate.
B. Noncompliance Prohibited: No person shall act in a manner inconsistent with any announced mandatory water rationing. (Ord. 936, 8-8-2011)
