Any customer with its own distributed generation service can apply to the City, or its authorities, requesting to enter into an agreement to purchase any unconsumed electricity that customer has generated. The City, or its authorities, shall have the sole discretion to determine whether to enter into such agreement. Any energy purchased pursuant to this agreement, shall be purchased at the energy only portion of the cost at the wholesale rate from current power purchased. An application fee in an amount set by the Board of Commissioners is provided in the fines and fees schedule in appendix A, division IV of this Code. (Ord. 969, 8-14-2017)
